Riviera Yachts Debuts Mean Improved VIP Experience In Miami

Australian builder Riviera Yachts will debut two boats at the Progressive Miami International Boat Show — the 4800 Sport Yacht and the 575 SUV.

The debuts are two of several that have prompted organizers to step up the VIP experience at this year’s show, which is set for Feb. 16-20 at Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin on Virginia Key.

“We’re taking our VIP experience to the next level — providing bespoke services and experiences for a discerning clientele in a way we’ve not done before,” National Marine Manufacturers Association vice president of shows and trade events Jennifer Thompson told Trade Only Today.

The 4800 Sport Yacht features two staterooms, two heads, alfresco entertaining seating in the cockpit, a foredeck lounge, a tender garage, an aft galley and salon and an atrium lounge.

The 575 SUV features three staterooms, one of which is a full-beam master stateroom, and two heads. It also has an alfresco cockpit and mezzanine design, an aft galley and salon.

Riviera wants to take advantage of the deep-water basin and docks at the Miami Marine Stadium, assistant show manager Larry Berryman said.

“Seeing what they could achieve last year with all the options available in-water, they’re pulling out all the stops this year, and we’re excited for what they have in store for the attendee,” he told Trade Only in an email.

“Our stunning red-carpet showcase in Miami will demonstrate how we continue to enhance the fun and lifestyle fulfillment of our growing global Riviera family of discerning luxury motoryacht owners,” said Chris McCafferty, the U.S.-based international sales director for Riviera.

The show will feature more than 100 new yachts, including dozens of debuts, from brands that include Tiara, Prestige, Carver, Riviera, Beneteau, Sabre, Jupiter, Sea Ray, Viking, SV Yachts, Stamas Yachts, Marquis Yachts, Marlow Yachts, Bavaria Yachts and Azimut, according to the NMMA.

Many of the VIP packages, offered in various tiers, allow access to a private lounge aboard a 111-foot yacht.

“And it’s an exciting way for exhibitors to further enhance their guests’ experience, whether it’s taking a break from shopping the show to be pampered with a free massage or manicure, unwinding with a drink in the exclusive lounge, shopping special luxury items or simply having the ultimate seamless Miami boat show experience,” Thompson said.

The lounge will feature upscale dining service with an onboard restaurant; happy hours each evening, featuring complimentary drinks and musical entertainment; live music daily; an open-air sky deck; multiple bars; private restrooms; complimentary Wi-Fi; and luxury product displays and services, including complimentary massages and manicures from noon to 4 p.m. daily, courtesy of PRIV.
